Per Diem Rates FY 12
Rates are set by fiscal year, effective October 1The FY 12 rates are now available as announced in FTR Bulletin 12-01.
Go to http://www.gsa.gov/
Select 2012 from the dropdown box above the map of the United States in order to see FY 12 rates. On Oct. 1, 2011, the the default setting will change to FY 12.

HOTEL CHEAT SHEET
Chis and I wanted to pass along this great helpful idea! Thank you Carlos Rojas from the Hyatt Regency Boston for sharing this helpful hint.
As our hotels are booking more and more Government business and with staff changes in this market happening all the time, it is a great idea to create a hotel cheat sheet.
Your Hotel Government Cheat Sheet should include some of the following information that is needed daily when bidding on Government programs.

It is always a good idea to make sure your hotel is up to date with your registrations. If these are not updated on an annual basis then it becomes difficult when contracting directly with Agencies as this is what they look for first.

2011 FEDERAL PER DIEM MIDYEAR RATE CHANGES
Just a Reminder When booking programs at the Government rate
All Contracts should have the wording "at prevailing per diem/government rate" A Notice in today's Federal Registerannounces that GSA has made midyear adjustments in the Fiscal Year 2011 maximum per diem reimbursement rates in specific locations in the States of California, Mississippi, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia. The attached FTR Bulletin 11-06 outlines the locations and the adjusted rates, which go into effect April 1, 2011 (see the third page for details). The rates have also been updated on GSA's website at http://www.gsa.gov/perdiem.
